Ingeborg Lokočova

Portfolio Manager

Ingeborg has been an integral member of the FiveSquare team for nearly a decade, working closely with the founding partners across investment, operational, and compliance matters. As Portfolio Manager, she plays a key role in overseeing the firm’s portfolio and has been involved in the Private Equity Program since its inception. Her responsibilities span portfolio monitoring, investment analysis support, and the management of compliance processes, including KYC and AML. In addition to her portfolio responsibilities, Ingeborg serves as Office Manager, coordinating internal operations and providing organisational support across the team. She ensures that both investment oversight and regulatory obligations are consistently met, contributing to the smooth running of client-facing and internal activities. Ingeborg holds a degree in Economics and Social & Public Policy. Prior to joining FiveSquare, she gained experience at a leading US law firm and a multi-family office in Prague.

Damian Beaven

Partner

With his dual Anglo-German background, Damian brings exceptional international perspective and cross-border expertise to FiveSquare's clients. He is a widely recognized leader in complex multinational M&A transactions and legal disputes, known for his focused project management and ability to navigate intricate international business environments. Drawing on over 25 years of experience in Central and Eastern Europe, Damian provides clients with strategic insights that bridge different legal systems, business cultures, and regulatory frameworks. He oversees the FiveSquare private equity program, where his deep knowledge of the sector has enabled him to create valuable long-term strategic relationships with leading private equity funds and fund managers, providing clients with exceptional access to exclusive investment opportunities. Before co-founding FiveSquare, Damian served as Director of Transactions at a multi-family office and as a partner at a leading US law firm, practicing law in both London and Prague.

Aleš Zídek

Aleš brings analytical precision and technical mastery to FiveSquare's client solutions. His expertise in complex structuring, financial analysis, and valuation modelling ensures that investment opportunities are thoroughly evaluated and optimally structured. With his background in cybernetics, Aleš approaches financial challenges with both mathematical rigor and systems thinking, allowing him to develop innovative frameworks for complex financial decisions. As a registered tax adviser, he seamlessly integrates tax efficiency into all client strategies. Before co-founding FiveSquare, Aleš served as Chief Financial Officer of a multi-family office in Prague, following positions at a leading US law firm and a well-known international accountancy and tax firm.

Alena serves as a trusted advisor on family matters, combining sophisticated legal expertise with exceptional project management skills to address the most sensitive matters. As a seasoned M&A and corporate attorney, she is known for her remarkable efficiency as a project leader, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects of significance for our key family clients. She is intensely involved in providing bespoke, individualized services to our family clients, including designing and managing their wealth structures and addressing sensitive family matters with discretion and care. Her legal focus is complemented by significant expertise in compliance, regulatory, and licensing matters—areas critical to preserving and enhancing client wealth. Before co-founding FiveSquare, Alena served at a multi-family office after establishing her reputation as a partner at a leading US law firm.

Jakub Dyba

Jakub is distinguished by his remarkable talent for relationship building and a deeply human approach. His natural ability to understand clients' needs, concerns, and aspirations enables him to forge lasting relationships built on trust and genuine understanding. Combined with his background in investment banking and trading at a major international institution, Jakub identifies investment opportunities while serving as a trusted advisor to our key family clients. Beyond financial acumen, he brings specialised expertise in public relations and governmental relations advisory, helping clients navigate regulatory landscapes and establish strategic institutional relationships. This unique combination of interpersonal excellence and market knowledge allows him to offer insights that extend beyond traditional investment advice. Before co-founding FiveSquare, Jakub served as Head of New Investments at a multi-family office in Prague and was a founding partner of Genesia, a boutique investment bank.

Drawing on his extensive background in both multi-family office management and international legal practice, he brings a unique perspective to complex client challenges. Before establishing FiveSquare Michal was the chief executive officer of a multi-family office in Prague and a partner at a prestigious US law firm, where he specialized in sophisticated mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions. His deep understanding of wealth structuring and preservation is complemented by hands-on M&A corporate governance experience with various organizations.
